Those with an interest in the utilities sector are invited to two events in April

Leading infrastructure consultancy Atkins has been commissioned by Lincolnshire County Council and the LEP to produce a study that identifies the level of utilities required to enable Greater Lincolnshire’s significant growth agenda.

The study will underpin the Greater Lincolnshire Strategic Economic Plan, which aims to deliver approximately 100,000 new homes, 16,000 jobs and £3.2billion of economic growth by 2030. Study proposals will identify the level, cost, funding and constraints of the utilities required to enable this growth. It will also inform a delivery strategy and should ultimately help to lever in public and private sector funding.

To ensure the final report is robust, effective and achievable, it is important that key stakeholders feed valuable information and thoughts into the process. Two events this month in Grantham and Hemswell will enable stakeholders to engage and give their views on the issue.

The events will be an introduction to the study and will allow for more in-depth workshops, to engage local stakeholders views on both the barriers and opportunities of dealing with the following utility areas of electricity, gas and water.
