An apprenticeship is a productive and effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified sustainable workforce.

Apprenticeships

Our goal is for Apprenticeships to be recognised as a real alternative to further and higher education.  In addition to providing both practical and technical/professional skills, they offer flexibility so that employers can adapt them to their need, helping to drive up both productivity and profitability as well as increasing prosperity within the Greater Lincolnshire economy.

From Intermediate L2 right up to Degree and Master’s levels they can be used effectively to help raise skills levels within any business.

Please see our newly published apprenticeship strategy at the bottom of this page or click here to view.

Traineeships

A Traineeship is a fully funded work placement. It is an opportunity for an employer to offer a trainee the chance to learn more about their company while they work and get ready for an apprenticeship or a job. They can last from 6 weeks up to a year.

The employer can claim a Government incentive of up to £1000 per trainee.

To find out more about traineeships and the incentive availability, email the National Apprenticeship Service at nationalhelpdesk@findapprenticeship.service.gov.uk or call 0800 015 0600 for advice and support. You can also visit the gov.uk website for further information.
