The Government made £900 million available through the Getting Building Fund (GBF) for investment in local infrastructure projects to stimulate jobs and support economic recovery across the country.

The Greater Lincolnshire LEP was allocated £25.8 million from the GBF to deliver a wide range of projects designed to boost the local economy.

One of these projects was the new Skills Capital Programme, which was awarded a £7.59 million fund to support capital projects that will enable delivery of additional or more relevant training that meets the needs of employers within Greater Lincolnshire's priority sectors.
