It's ‘Lincolnshire Day’ at MIPIM 2018 and we're reflecting on the great investment opportunities on offer

To celebrate our inaugural ‘Lincolnshire Day’ during MIPIM 2018 at the Midlands Pavilion today (14th March 2018) we are reflecting on the great investment opportunities on offer in the region.

Supportive Environment - There is a great supportive business community here, and a proactive LEP and local authorities to support investments.

Choose Life(style) – Lincolnshire offers an unrivalled place to live. Our visitor economy is growing with significant investment in product. Our population is growing at above national rates as people discover this. Investment in housing can produce good returns as more people relocate to the area.

Safe and steady – Greater Lincolnshire is not about the ‘quick buck’. The returns to be made here are steady and not usually subject to frequent fluctuations in value.

People will always need food – We are at the cutting edge of food production, technology, processing and packaging. Investments in this sector can be very rewarding.

Well engineered – Our advanced engineering sector continues to grow. Land and buildings to support these businesses and their supply chains can make excellent investments.

‘Lincolnshire Day’ will feature back-to-back panels and presentations lead by key delegates including: Justin Brown Enterprise Commissioner – Economy & Place at Lincolnshire County Council, Cllr Martin Hill OBE, Leader of Lincolnshire County Council, and Team Lincolnshire sponsor Tim Downing from Pygott & Crone. Alongside the informative events there will also be also local sausages prepared for delegates sponsored by CPMG.

The businesses representing the region at MIPIM 2018 are: Pygott and Crone, Roythornes, LK2, Building Services Design, YMD Boon, Woodhead Group, BSP Consulting, Fraser Brown, Cartwright Communications, Willmott Dixon, Delta-Simons, William Saunders, Gleeds, Couch Perry Wilkes, Lindum, BE Design, CPMG, Dynamic Lincoln, Globe, Invest Gainsborough, North East Lincolnshire Council, Morgan Sindall, Besa, RizkMcCay, Core Architects and Stirlin.
