Investment opportunities in Greater Lincolnshire shown off at MIPIM 2019

Team Lincolnshire promoted the county’s investment opportunities on the global stage at MIPIM 2019 last month.

More than 20 businesses from across the region joined forces with the LEP for the world’s biggest property expo, which attracted nearly 29,000 delegates from all over the world.

Visitors to the Midlands UK Pavilion heard about the wealth of opportunities Lincolnshire has to offer, including three Food Enterprise Zones, major infrastructure projects, strategic employment sites and significant housing schemes.

Team Lincolnshire has established a recognisable presence at MIPIM in recent years, thanks in part to its famous brunch at the Grand Hotel. More than 100 delegates enjoyed authentic Lincolnshire sausages, transported from Redhill Farm near Gainsborough to Cannes for the event.

This year’s brunch featured a presentation from LEP board director Cllr Colin Davie highlighting the county’s rich heritage and exciting future.

Cllr Davie said: “We have ambitious partners all wanting to deliver 100,000 new homes and new business sites for industry and commerce. We are on a journey to make Lincolnshire the greatest investment hotspot in the UK. Key to this is the variety within the portfolio of development projects that we have showcased at MIPIM.”
