The Employment and Skills Board is looking for two new private sector members to support the organisation’s work.
The Employment and Skills Board, part of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, is looking for two new private sector members to bring their knowledge and expertise to support the organisation’s work.
The ESB is a business-led board which enables employers to influence how public funding for skills training is spent.
Its aim is to support the continued growth of the Greater Lincolnshire economy by ensuring that people have the skills and qualifications that employers need.
Now the LEP is looking for two private-sector members with experience of the skills agenda to fill two vacancies.
The candidates will be strategic thinkers who want to make a contribution to improving the skills of a particular sector, location or group of people and can step back and see the bigger picture across Greater Lincolnshire.
“We’re looking for two people with knowledge and experience of the skills sector who want to really make a difference,” said Clare Hughes, the Greater Lincolnshire LEP officer responsible for employment and skills.
“Applicants must be based in Greater Lincolnshire and have an understanding of the skills needs of a specific sector or of the local area.
“We’re particularly keen to hear from business people in the food, health and care or logistics sectors, but applications are welcome from all types of business.”

The posts are voluntary and successful candidates will be asked to attend four or five meetings a year and provide information to and from the sectors they work within or represent.
