Team Lincolnshire ambassador Banks Long & Co win the contract for the management of a luxury apartment complex in Lincoln’s West End

The Management and Professional Services division of commercial property consultants Banks Long & Co has secured a contract to provide long-term management services to a gated complex of twenty-three luxury apartments in Lincoln.

It follows the work done by their Building and Cost Consultancy division as quantity surveyors for the development of the site, Carruthers Court, which is situated within Lincoln’s West End. Banks Long & Co, which is also based in Lincoln, has overseen the contractual and financial administration of the entire project so far and is now pleased to continue its association with the client.

All but one of the high-quality apartments have already been let by estate agents William H Brown, with significant interest in the remaining apartment.

Over the last 12 months, the Management and Professional Services division has won more than a dozen contracts, both commercial and residential, across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.

Banks Long & Co have recruited 3 new members of staff to the division to meet the growing demand for their strategic, bespoke service. Their knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance across their varied portfolio means that every client's income is maximised.

Sophie Slight (above), Property Assistant at Banks Long & Co, says, “We are delighted to have won the contract to manage these premium apartments and continue our work with the owners. Since our rebrand at the beginning of the year I think it has become far more obvious to people who already knew Banks Long & Co as a property agency that we also have a full range of property services available from quantity surveying and project management to our work managing clients property assets.”

Sophie also believes that Banks Long & Co’s strong commitment to sustainability, both within their own business and on behalf of clients, was central to their suitability as strategic property managers.

She continues, “At the beginning of the project we advised on cost-effective approaches to boosting energy performance with consideration for the longevity and smooth future management of the development. Solar panels, EV chargers, and the incorporation of facilities for future battery storage are becoming essential components of modern responsible living and will positively impact the long-term desirability and value of the complex.”

Banks Long & Co recently restructured the business into 4 divisions, with each offering expert guidance to key areas of the commercial and residential property industry, and enabling the company to add value to every stage of a property project.
