The Greater Lincolnshire Defence & Security Network will host a networking breakfast on 9th February.

The GLDSN was successfully launched last year after the LEP formed the Defence and Security Board in a drive to grow the defence sector in Lincolnshire. The board and network have been working in partnership to create a nationally recognised cluster of innovation focused companies in the defence and security sector.

There are more than 80 companies locally already operating in the sector, employing between 10,000 and 12,000 people, with many more employed directly or indirectly in the armed forces and through the RAF.

The GLDSN networking meeting will allow those attending to talk about the challenges they are facing now or may face in the future and need help to overcome. There will also be the chance to interact with several key senior speakers from the Air and Space Warfare Centre (ASWC) and Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Centre (JEWOSC).

The aim of this breakfast networking meeting is also to increase membership numbers ahead of applying for Regional Defence & Security Cluster (RDSC) status.
