Lincolnshire's strongest ever team is gearing up for MIPIM next month

Lincolnshire's strongest ever team is gearing up for MIPIM, the world’s largest property event, taking place in Cannes from 13th to 16th March.

Team Lincolnshire – which includes 26 sponsors from across the region's property and construction industry – will showcase the area on the global stage, highlighting a number of key development sites and opportunities.

Driven by the Greater Lincolnshire LEP and Team Lincolnshire, the area has succeeded in establishing a recognisable presence in Cannes over the years. The private-public sector line up of Team Lincolnshire has, for the past three years, helped to reinforce the area’s message.

Greater Lincolnshire LEP Director Ruth Carver said: “2018 is a fantastic time for to be showcasing what Lincolnshire has to offer investors – from improved transport links through to increased investment in leisure and education, Lincolnshire is continuing to go from strength to strength.”

During this year’s MIPIM, Team Lincolnshire will be focussing on promoting investment opportunities in the area, including three food Enterprise Zones: Peppermint Park in Holbeach, Hemswell Cliff in Central Lincolnshire and Europarc III in Grimsby, alongside strategic employment site and urban extensions across Greater Lincolnshire.

Representing the region at the leading property event will be: Pygott and Crone, Roythornes, LK2, Building Services Design, YMD Boon, Woodhead Group, BSP Consulting, Fraser Brown, Cartwright Communications, Willmott Dixon, Delta-Simons, William Saunders, Gleeds, Couch Perry Wilkes, Lindum, BE Design, CPMG, Dynamic Lincoln, Globe, Invest Gainsborough, North East Lincolnshire Council, Morgan Sindall, Besa, RizkMcCay, Core Architects and Stirlin.

Among the new sponsors for 2018 is RizkMcCay. Creative Director John McCay said: “RizkMcCay has recently established an office in the region and we are proud to be part of Team Lincolnshire and to be a sponsor of their premier networking brunch at MIPIM this year.

“Lincoln and Lincolnshire are going through a really exciting period of growth at the moment and MIPIM is a fantastic venue to promote the region for inward investment and in turn for the success of our business.”

Ruth Carver added: “There are so many opportunities for UK regions at Cannes – when it will be propelled onto an international stage. For our 26 sponsors, there are many opportunities too – and a chance for businesses to work closely with regional partners and be part of the Midlands Engine through the Midlands UK Pavilion, we are certain that this year will put Lincolnshire and all it has to offer in the international spotlight.”

MIPIM takes place from 13th to 16th March centred round a large scale exhibition in the Palais de Festival in Cannes in the south of France which attracts tens of thousands of visitors.  For more information about Greater Lincolnshire LEP and the work it does, visit: www.greaterlincolnshirelep.co.uk
