We’re busy looking for a new Chair to lead the LEP into the next decade.

We’re busy looking for a new Chair to lead the LEP into the next decade following the announcement that Ursula Lidbetter OBE is to step down at the end of 2019.

We are seeking a collaborative business leader to chair the LEP Board, build on the firm foundations already in place and lead our ambitious £307 million growth plan to create thousands more jobs and homes in the region.

Already recognised as an effective business leader, the successful candidate will have the commercial acumen, board level experience and strategic leadership skills that will create confidence with public and private sector partners.

With an outstanding knowledge of the Greater Lincolnshire business environment, the new Chair will have the credibility to represent our area at a regional and national level.

He or she will ensure that the LEP functions effectively within a framework of corporate governance and transparency in line with the LEP's robust structures, and with a style that encourages a collaborative approach to setting strategic priorities and decision making.

The new Chair will initially serve a three-year term, with the option to extend to maximum of two further terms, and the post is unpaid.

If you think you fit the bill and would like an informal discussion, contact Claudia Sousa at Penna on 07763 580368 or Roger Russell at Penna on 07710 701570. A full candidate information pack is available here, or you can apply online here.
