A new £3 million fund has been launched to help businesses in Greater Lincolnshire to grow.

The Greater Lincolnshire LEP Growth Fund is being administered through the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub.

Capital grants of between £150,000 and £500,000 are available to businesses operating in one of the LEP’s priority sectors: agrifood, manufacturing, health and care, ports and logistics, visitor economy, low carbon and digital.

The customised programme of growth funding will stimulate business investment that would not otherwise occur, thereby helping to remove the barriers to private-sector-led growth and lead to accelerated high-value job creation.

Grants can be awarded to support transformational projects which align with the wider ambitions of the LEP’s Strategic Economic Plan to help businesses across Greater Lincolnshire increase productivity and create new wealth and jobs.

They can help to pay for property infrastructure, buildings and refurbishment costs, plant, machinery and equipment, IT and new technology or staff recruitment and training costs.

Successful applicants are expected to provide match funding of between 70% and 80% and need to be state aid compliant. Projects should be ready to start within 12 months of the award of funding.
