The LEP has used some its European funding to help local employers fill their skills gaps.

Employers can access free training right now, choosing from a huge range of options being delivered by many different training providers across the local area.

The scheme covers all sorts of training, from World Host Customer Service, Developing Business Relationships and ILM Principles of Team Leading to bricklaying, cladding and directional drilling.

It is open to Greater Lincolnshire businesses with an annual turnover of less than £50 million to support their growth plans. For more information visit https://www.greaterlincolnshirelep.co.uk/whats-new/free-skills-training/.

Alternatively employers can talk to a local skills advisor about their long-term skills plans and get support to overcome challenges in terms of skills and recruitment preventing them from growing their business.

The Specialist Skills Advisor scheme is completely free of charge, and advisors will spend time with you to understand your problem and help you find solutions.
