Businesses in North and North East Lincolnshire are being reminded of the transition from the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership to the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership on 1st April 2021.

The geographical overlap between the Humber LEP and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP is being removed on this date, and North and North East Lincolnshire will remain solely within the Greater Lincolnshire LEP.

From 1st April, businesses in this area that wish to access business support can do so via the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub. Business Lincolnshire offers free and impartial advice to businesses across Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland, and support services can be accessed via the website:

Previously North and North East Lincolnshire were part of both LEPs. From 1st April the Humber LEP will be rebranded as the Hull and East Yorkshire LEP and will no longer cover any areas south of the Humber.

There will be no change to existing business advisors currently working with organisations in North and North East Lincolnshire, and businesses can rest assured that the support that is currently being provided will continue without any change. This includes support being provided through the current European Regional Development Fund programmes, which will continue to be delivered until the funding ends in June 2023. The transition will not affect this.

Samantha Harrison, Head of the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub, said: “The Growth Hub has already been working closely with businesses in northern Lincolnshire for a number of years and we are looking forward to continuing to work together with North and North East Lincolnshire local authorities and E-Factor to make sure the right support is available.

“We want to support as many businesses as possible across the whole of Greater Lincolnshire, and we will continue to offer expert guidance and support to new and existing businesses.”
