Spacehive are the UK’s funding platform for civic initiatives and they are able to rush emergency funds from councils, companies and foundations to support grassroots fundraising campaigns for things like:

  • Food banks
  • Mutual aid groups
  • Setting up online community centres and schools

They have a track record or delivering major funding programmes for everyone from the Mayor of London to the Arts Council and Veolia.

During the crisis, they are making their technology free to use. There are no fees for people who want to fundraise or for organisations who want to add emergency funds to the platform.
