A Team Lincolnshire ambassador, well-known for commitment to customer satisfaction since its inception in the mid-1990s, Tradeglaze and the company’s subsidiaries Jackson Windows and Supreme Windows have become the go-to window suppliers for many customers in the Lincolnshire area for retail, trade and commercial projects alike.

Established initially as an installer in 1995, Tradeglaze has come a long way in the last three decades. Starting as a team of three, the business grew quickly and within a couple of years Tradeglaze opened its own manufacturing factory. By the mid 2000s Tradeglaze outgrew its premises and in 2009 the company opened a new state-of-the art 12000 sq ft factory at its current location in Lincoln. Today, Tradeglaze employs over 70 staff including their own remedial engineer team.

With an increased manufacturing capability and an expanding order book, quickly after their relocation to their new facility Tradeglaze needed to modernise its supply chain in order to provide the consistent and reliable five-star customer service the company has always been known.

A Time For Change

“We researched the systems companies available to us; we agreed we needed a supplier that could provide a stable supply of profile – and more importantly, which offered the same level of customer service that we provide to our customers,” explains Jeremy Wetherall, Managing Director of Tradeglaze.

“We wanted to work with a company whose values would align with ours. Innovation, investment in the future and exceptional customer service is what we strive for. With the most technologically advanced window system designs on the market and a well-eared reputation for innovation, Liniar were the right choice for us.”

“Nearly 12 years into our relationship with Liniar, our opinion of its service and products hasn’t changed. It’s easy to see the amount of work that Liniar puts into creating its first-class systems. From our point of view, we can stand behind these products, confident in the knowledge that we are selling the best window systems on the market.”

Covid, Challenges and Customer Support

“The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented changes in trade and consumer buying behaviours. Our retail customers now choose to research online and discuss the benefits of our products through virtual consultations.” explained Katerina Pickup, Marketing Manager at Tradeglaze.

“Our online presence has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent months. We launched a new website for our retail brand Jackson Windows and introduced a new product brochure available online, to help our customers get our product information faster and in a way that works for them. We now routinely use online video conferencing to advise our customers on their choices with us, to help them on their home improvement journey.”

Jeremy Wetherall said: “We have transformed our sales approach completely and have further increased our emphasis on customer support. Providing exceptional quality products and service to our customers has never been as important as in the recent months. We are receiving glowing reviews for both our retail and trade businesses every week so we know that our business model is working well. We are very excited for the months ahead as we continue innovating our companies.”

“We love working with Liniar – it’s a company you can rely on. It has certainly been challenging times but the team at Liniar have provided us with constant communication and are completely transparent in terms of supply. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a unique situation where we absolutely needed this transparency and communication, and throughout the entire pandemic it was obvious that, despite many exceptional challenges, Liniar have been working very hard to keep us up to date at all times. We certainly feel in good hands with Liniar.”

“Our installers also enjoy using Liniar’s products. Not only do they make our customers happy with outstanding energy efficiency ratings and attractive style, but they’re also very easy to install. They’re lightweight and the job is quicker to complete to our exacting standards.”

Big Projects for Tradeglaze

Tradeglaze works with several developers in the region to provide quality double glazing products to newbuilds. They recently supplied fellow Team Lincolnshire ambassador and high-end developer Lindum Homes with stunning Agate Grey flush sash windows for an opulent development at their Bramley Grove site in the desirable location of Heighington, four miles south of Lincoln.

Jamie Cocks, Sales Manager at Lindum Homes, said: “Tradeglaze have supplied and installed the windows and doors on our exclusive Bramley Grove development of 5 executive homes in Heighington, Lincoln. Their product and service are first rate and the finished homes looks absolutely stunning.”

“Lindum Homes chose to work with us for two reasons,” explains Brian Pearson, Trade Manager at Tradeglaze. “Firstly because of the reputation we’ve built of putting customers first, and secondly because we manufacture and install Liniar windows – their quality is renowned throughout the industry.”

“Bramley Grove is a totally unique development, high specification and with many individual touches. We were proud to supply our products to this remarkable site. We look forward to working with Lindum Homes on other projects in the future and hope to share more news about our collaboration in the months ahead.”
