PAB Languages marked its 10th anniversary with a special event in Lincoln.

PAB Languages is marking its 10th anniversary with a series of free events across the UK to thank its employees, customers, business partners and suppliers.

The latest of these events took place in Lincoln, where delegates gathered to celebrate cultural and language diversity.

Delegates were treated to a fantastic line-up of experts including Adriaan Vickery who talked about the support available to exporting companies, Tim Sutton who spoke about the importance of company values, and Lelde Please who presented an overview of innovative CSR practices at PAB Languages.

A 20lb birthday cake from a local bakery was served and the fizz flowed when PAB team members greeted guests from local business and the wider community to the seminar room.

After the break Iwona Lebiedowicz provided some useful tips on building successful relations with people from different countries and cultures, Jakob Xu presented about China and Lincolnshire Chamber Chief Executive Simon Beardsley inspired businesses to grow internationally.

Over 40 guests networked together and learned from the experts and the event at the at DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Lincoln was considered to be a great success.

Managing Director Iwona Lebiedowicz said: “Since 2013 when I became a proud winner of Lincolnshire Business Awards, Young Business Person of the Year 2013, my focus and commitment to serving our customers and community have not changed.

“We support mainly UK-based businesses and mainly exporters. We will continue to provide high-quality services enabling relationships between people from different countries and cultures.”

One of the delegates commented: “We all learned a great deal from the presentations and enjoyed meeting so many people from all over the world. What a successful gathering with the added flavours of British, Polish and Chinese hospitality and welcoming cultures.”

The event concluded with a quiz and networking opportunity.
