The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supports research and innovation, the creation of a low carbon economy and aims to strengthen economic and social cohesion.

The six priority areas are:

  • Research & innovation
  • ICT
  • SME competitiveness
  • Low carbon
  • Climate change
  • Environment

This ERDF focuses on larger, more strategic schemes which are well co-ordinated and which give maximum impact against specific themes. However, smaller projects and peripherally linked themes may also qualify for funding through collaborative value added partnerships.

Calls for activity and relevant guidance against the six themes are announced on our latest news pages as well as on these EU Funding pages.

Open Calls: ERDF

The next calls that are open in Greater Lincolnshire under the European Regional Development Funding (part of the European Structural & Investment Funds) have now been published on the gov.uk website.

Please note that if you are submitting projects under Priority Axis 1 and 3 for capital build schemes, then revenue business support activity needs to be incorporated into the scheme.  All projects that have business support provision must also align to the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub offer.  Please do contact Samantha Harrison (SamanthaL.Harrison@lincolnshire.gov.uk)  to discuss Growth Hub alignment.

Priority Axis 6 Preserving and Protecting the Environment and Promoting Resource Efficiency

Call to run projects that protect and restore biodiversity, promote innovative technologies to improve environmental protection and resource efficiency
