The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supports research and innovation, the creation of a low carbon economy and aims to strengthen economic and social cohesion.

This ERDF focuses on larger, more strategic schemes which are well co-ordinated and which give maximum impact against specific themes. However, smaller projects and peripherally linked themes may also qualify for funding through collaborative value added partnerships.

Final Local Calls in Greater Lincolnshire under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) have been announced. The closing date for outline applications is 30th September 2019.  The calls that are open are for the following Investment Priority areas:

Priority Axis 1 Promoting Research and Innovation

Call to run projects that enhance research & innovation infrastructure to develop research and innovation excellence and promoting business investment in research and innovation.

Priority Axis 2 Information and Communications Technology

Call to run projects that enhancing access to, and use and quality of, Information and Communications Technology. 

Priority Axis 3 SME Support

Call to run project's enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises in Greater Lincolnshire. 

Priority Axis 5 Promoting climate change adaptation, risk prevention and management

Call to run projects supporting investment that addresses specific risks, ensuring disaster resilience and developing disaster management systems. 

Priority Axis 6 Preserving and Protecting the Environment and Promoting Resource Efficiency

Call to run projects that protect and restore biodiversity, promote innovative technologies to improve environmental protection and resource efficiency.
